Expired food items in Dhale' seized
DHALE' November 13. 2022 (Saba) - The Industry and Trade Office in Damt district in Dhale' province on Sunday seized a quantity of expired foodstuffs in the number of retailing shops in the district’s markets.
Director of the Industry and Trade Office in the district Amin Jamil said the seizure of the materials came within the framework of a field campaign to monitor the markets, indicating that the seized materials included many expired items of drinks and chocolate.
Jamil stressed the campaign will continue field visits for various stores and markets to follow up and control damaged and expired foodstuffs imported by unknown facilities to preserve consumer health.
